A Pets Life is located at Toolijooa (near Gerringong) on approx. 3 acres of securely fenced land which allows the dogs to roam safely and freely.

A Pets Life allow friendly dogs to come and enjoy a holiday at our farm.

The dogs that come to stay with us live at our home like our own dogs do! During the day they are outside playing with each other or snoozing and then at night they are welcomed inside our home to sleep comfortably.

With your holiday preparations in full swing, let us lend a helping hand. We offer the convenience of picking up and dropping off your furry family member.

Alternatively, if you prefer you can bring your dog into the Canineology Centre at Unanderra and we will take it from there.

Throughout the day, your dog has the freedom to roam freely around our securely fenced yard on our 3 acre farm or do zoomies with other furry friends. They can also enjoy a swim in our pool or opt for a leisurely sun-soaked nap on the verandah to rest.

Conditions of Stay

While we are looking forward to having your dog come and join us for some farm fun, there are several conditions that need to be met before your dog’s stay can be booked:

  • Must be desexed;
  • Be up to date with vaccinations, especially Kennel Cough.
  • Have current flea, tick and worming treatments.
  • Most importantly they must get on with other dogs.

This is a limited service and we frequently book out so we always suggest you book early for peak holiday times.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your dog must be dog friendly and new clients dogs are required to pass a sociability test at the Canineology Centre Dog Day Care to ensure they are super friendly we all dogs. We reserve the right to not accept any dog or breed that we feel would be unsuitable.

All dogs must have current C5 or C7 vaccinations which include current Kennel Cough vaccination or intranasal. We will require a copy of the current vaccinations which you can ask your vet to supply to you if you don’t have one on file. All dogs must also have current Flea and Tick treatments.

All dogs must be desexed to stay with us. We will consider certain puppies under six month of age who have not yet been desexed.

Yes our house yard has six foot secure fencing.

No we don’t have kennels, our guests can free range around the house yard with other guests and are inside with us at night.

You can book via the website portal or email or text. All details are on this website.

We only require your dog with a collar and tag or a collar with your contact details on it.

We choose premium grain free dry food and fresh meat. If you dog has a special diet we can accommodate that as well which you can supply or we can provide.

We are happy for you to supply your dog’s special diet and we can certainly administer any medication as required.

We have a maximum of ten dogs staying at one time.

We have a complimentary pick up and drop off service for the Gerringong / Kiama areas. For all other suburbs north of Kiama you take your dog to the Canineology Centre and drop off Monday to Saturday between 9.30am and 1130am and then pick up there again on those days and during those times.

All dogs have full access to the acreage and spend their days playing, snoozing or just following us around. At night they all come inside and sleep inside with us.
